We had such a fun and enjoyable evening helping Ampersand Events entertain their venue clients at the Ampersand Hub.
It was a true English Sports Day and even the sun was shining! Ampersand Events created an evening of cocktails and a beautiful banquet for their venue clients, showcasing their talents and offering a chance to celebrate.
From our initial sketches, to the fun and games being brought to life, it was a wonderfully creative brief.
To complement the downstairs transformation of the warehouse into a fully equipped and competitive ‘Sports Day’ for the clients, the entrance was lined with silver birch trees, inviting them in to where the racing festivities began. Here, nods to the recent Olympics, as well as traditional country fetes set the scene.
Bunting (Ampersand brand purple of course), wooden crates and the odd tennis ball and racket continued the sporting theme. A large urn filled with purple hued delphiniums, hydrangea and foliage played host to the drinks bar.
The Ampersand purple hue was present throughout and brought together the downstairs and upstairs spaces.
Once the games were over, it was time to enjoy and experience the delicious delights created by the talented and creative, Ampersand chefs.
Upstairs, guests enjoyed a glam banquet within the midst of an English orchard and country garden.
Running down the centre of the dining table, silver birch trees lined the centre pieces featuring blue and purple hydrangea, purple and pink roses, along with various elements of the meal that guests could forage for, all adding to the drama and fun of the occasion. Purple taper candles and hanging purple vandas set off the Ampersand hue beautifully.
A true English summer’s evening which we were delighted to be a part of.
