]]>Rainbows have become our nation’s symbol of hope for 2020, and now 2021. They promise brighter days ahead once the storm has passed. Together with Cadogan we wanted to create an uplifting floral display in Duke of York Square, Chelsea, that made passers-by smile, warmed up people’s hearts in the cold winter and brought hope to them in all the colours of the rainbow.
Design wise, we wanted to create the rainbow symbol in a subtle way, naturally letting the colours fade into each other as if growing softly.
Until we hug again. Ruth xxx

]]>It was an absolute joy to create floral magic for By Chennai at Sezincote House on what had to be the hottest day of the year in 2020! We did a set up fit for cover guidelines and restrictions - showing that small can still be beautiful! Expertly photographed by Becky Goddard photographer. I wanted the florals to grow from the arch, up and around the peacock window, flowing down the steps, and then enveloping up and around the table with florals up and over the tabletop and down the front dropping down to the floor so the entire set up was one with no start and no finish.

]]>
The reception was held under the pergola in the gardens of the house. The structure was an amazing wooden pergola that was pre existing but with no foliage or anything on it, it was a blank frame for us to fill to the max with trailing English rose hips, ivy and draping foliage to create a Tuscan vibe similar to the couple's initial wedding plans! We made a lush eucalyptus garland for the table runner and dressed the entrance to the pergola in a beautiful arch, set off by two stone urns filled with florals at the top of the steps which were also dressed with flowers. The weather sadly was not so Italianesque and with a crazy storm hitting on the day before the wedding and the day itself it was a battle against the elements as well as covid, but not even the wind or rain could dampen any of our spirits, or the couples as we all pulled off such a beautiful special day for the couple. Also- rain on your wedding day is good luck... and dancing under it at midnight super romantic and one to remember! ha ha

All For Love London were delighted to reveal their installation for this year’s British Flowers Week at the Garden Museum.
British Flowers Week ran from 11-16 June and was a week long floral exhibition that celebrates Britain’s best blooms and supports the country’s flower industry.
In partnership with founders New Covent Garden Market, which is the UK’s premier flower supplier, the exhibition saw florists, flower growers, wholesalers and flower fans unite.
The Garden Museum played host to five of Britain’s top florists showcasing their innovative creations based around this year’s theme ‘Memories’. As one of the chosen florists, All For Love London’s CEO and Artistic Director Ruth Davis used this year’s theme to recall special family moments from her childhood.
“For me, there are so many flower related memories in my memory box, as they have always played a significant part in my life - with or without me knowing! Many of my happiest memories as a child would be spent with family at my Grandparents’ house in Lancaster. My Grandad would grow sweet peas outside his greenhouse, up against the wall adjoining his neighbour’s garden. They would climb up rickety bamboo canes he had had for 50 years or more and towered over me. We would water them together and then he would pick some of the delicate flowers for me. I always remember feeling so special that he was willing to part with his prized, precious beautiful flowers that had taken him so long to grow.”
“After he had picked armfuls of sweet peas, Nanna would divide them into three bunches, one for their table, one for my mother with stems wrapped in damp kitchen roll and tinfoil and one bunch for my windowsill, likewise wrapped, to survive the journey home. He did this for me from the age of 5 to the age of 25 and I would leave their house each time in the summer, proud as punch with my precious little bundle of homegrown sweet peas. When at University and away from home Nanna would send me little hand written flowery notelets, and if anyone was visiting me, a little bunch of sweet peas, (if in season), delicately wrapped in damp kitchen roll. Their scent to this day catches me off guard and catapults me right back to being there with all my family.”
“My grandparents passed away the year I started All for Love London, five years ago. My Nanna was my biggest supporter, even when I was starting out and had no work at all, she would tell me she ‘had faith’ and that one day I would be making and creating large pieces of floral art for everyone to see. She saw a future for me in flowers that I couldn't at times see myself. So, in turn, it seems only right to share this special moment at The Garden Museum with her and with my Grandad and dedicate this installation to them both.”
“I have taken over a compete archway in the Church using the full height and shape of the arch cavity to create my installation. It’s at once an ambitious and yet simple design- the scale is pretty epic at around 7m tall but the content is just one flower- over a thousand English sweet peas! Just like the little girl looking up at Grandad’s trellis, I want people to crane their necks and look up as far as they can to see the sweet peas growing- the sheer size of it to dwarf them as they look up. I have handmade a rickety trellis out of bamboo canes to fill the space, and then grow thousands of British sweet peas up them, as tall as can be.”
The exhibition was the first time contemporary floral design has been given centre stage in a London museum.
Commenting on the exhibition Ruth says: “British Flowers Week is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate all things flowers and to encourage everyone to enjoy their natural beauty. It’s a dream come true to have been selected as one of the five florists to participate in this year’s Garden Museum exhibition for British Flowers Week. It’s such a wonderful week in our industry, casting a light not only on floristry as an art form but the added emphasis on British growers is also brilliant for sharing the ‘home grown’ message amongst florists and suppliers.”

]]>A beautiful, standard All For Love, arch stood proud and full of colour at the top of the aisle, with flowers lining either side of the aisle in co-ordinating hues.
All our favourite summer blooms including Dahlias, Hydrangeas, Roses, Delphiniums and lots of gorgeous green foliage.

Working with the wonderfully creative Liv Newiss on planning this beautiful wedding was such a pleasure.
Once again it was another one of our mega arches, this time the archway standing around 4m tall and framed the giant castle doors, providing a jaw droopingly beautiful backdrop to the top table. The arch was soft and fluffy, textured and natural - just how we like them!
In another corner sat a grand piano, watched over by a beautiful portrait, and alongside a huge pretty urn filled of fabulous flowers in pinks, whites, greens, again full of texture.
The ceremony set up was also stunning with a frame of flowers being the backdrop to the all important 'I dos' teamed with small urn arrangements down the aisle.
Thank you to Samantha Ward for the Photography
]]>This weekend's wedding was at Aynhoe, where we created a statement ring for a change - well a complete 360 arch! How spectacular does this ring of roses look, being the backdrop to the wedding ceremony!
A beautiful palette of greens and whites with touches of pinks. The stunning Cafe au Lait Dahlia was a star of the arch along with creamy Majolica spray roses.
The aisle was dressed a natural meadow style flowers.
Beautiful Majolica roses in the bouquets look just like porcelain. A trend we're definitely seeing this year with brides is extra open, blousy, large headed, single stemmed white roses left with long stems and simply bundled together with a ribbon - simply, classic, clean and pure elegance.
Tables were dressed with an elegant simplicity with small vases, candlestick holders and petals scattered over the tablecloth.
A classic, timeless and elegant wedding, simply wow!
]]>A relaxed garden feel throughout with a mix of foliage and flowers. Then through the flowers, stood the prettiest of Pergolas - what a place to say 'I do'! Flowers adorned the outdoor swing and petals ran up the aisle.
Inside, we dressed the tables with a mix of tall and low centrepieces featuring soft pale pinks, creams and green foliage.
Thank you to Gyan Gurung for the wonderful photography.

All For Love London were excited to share their collection of ‘marine’ inspired floral installations for this year’s ‘Under The Sea’ Chelsea in Bloom.
Celebrating its 14th year, the world class alternative floral art show is produced by Cadogan in association with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), and transforms the streets of Chelsea with breathtaking floral displays from the 20th to 25th May. It is London’s largest free floral art show.
This year’s theme was ‘Under The Sea’, and as one of the Show’s florists, All For Love London created a number of floral pieces representing our oceans and marine life, a total of 12 animals.
Beginning at Sloane Square, we created a beautiful, giant Whale tail installation. The Blue Whale is the largest animal on the planet and so we felt it was only right that it has pride of place in the flower festival. The installation of a blue whale's tail was over 4 metres high and was made using hand dyed, fresh willow strands with the splash of sea being made out of frothy white, turquoise and blue flowers.
In addition, at Sloane Square, an immersive coral reef was created. The coral reef is a busy, exciting place, home to thousands of amazing sea creatures and underwater plants. Our installation tried to capture the beauty, busyness and colour of our planet's precious reefs, featuring an abundance of wildlife.
Then, moving down to Pavilion Road, there was a life-size Orca Whale made entirely from fresh seasonal foliage and flowers. The impressive art piece is over 5 metres tall and takes its inspiration from the incredible Orca Whale, or Killer Whale as they are more commonly known. Our aim was to replicate the majesty and beauty of this amazing animal, as they are, to us, the Kings and Queens of the ocean.
Finally, ending at Sloane Street, we created a beautiful pair of mother and baby Seahorses. Seahorses prefer to swim in pairs, with their tails often intertwined and also pair for life. Our seahorses were made entirely from the most delicate skeleton leaves to replicate their fragile beauty and translucency.
Commenting on this year’s theme, Ruth Davis, CEO & Artistic Director All For Love London: “The theme for this year's Chelsea in Bloom, 'Under the Sea', is a wonderful opportunity to create a riot of colour and design on the streets of London. There is so much scope to create spectacular installations from the many marine animals and sea life to the beautiful coral reefs and splashes and waves of the sea.”
For this year’s theme, Cadogan were working alongside a charity partner Plastic Oceans UK whose goal is to end plastic pollution. To support this concept, All For Love London created their installations plastic free and using no oasis or floral foam.
Continuing on All For Love London’s involvement this year, Ruth says: “Being a part of this Chelsea flower project is an absolute dream come true for me, and to be asked back for a third year for the Show’s main pieces is a real honour and privilege. It’s a wonderful British institution and as a flower festival, it’s the pinnacle for every florist to aim to play a part in. For me, it is a career high to be involved, and I am truly honoured to have been commissioned by Cadogan once again to design and create their public art installations for this year's Chelsea in Bloom. We hope that they make commuters and shoppers smile and stop in their tracks. The whole process has been an absolute joy.”
Visitors could experience and explore the ‘Under The Sea’ trail, through guided walking tours and rickshaw rides, along with enjoying a range of in-store events, exclusive products and offers that were on throughout the week. A record number of stores also participated this year, with over 90 shops, restaurants and hotels creating their own unique displays portraying their ‘Under The Sea’. Additionally, for this year, the legendary King’s Road participated, celebrating its re-launch, unveiled in April 2019.
And the installations all started out like this, as a drawing and painting by Ruth.
So much prettiness featuring a ceiling full of fluffy gypsophila and soft, pale pink roses, making a beautiful floral cloud.
A table runner matching the ceiling dressed the table, along with a separate frame to style the bar.
We simply love pretty installations like this!

]]>We were thrilled to be involved in this year's Fleurs de Ville taking place at Covent Garden and partnered with botanical drink brand Fentimans and their Rose Lemondade.
Fleurs de Villes showcases wonderous artful flower displays, creating pop ups around the world, building engagement with audiences and creating experiences to remember. It is an opportunity to showcase a city’s world-class floristry talent.
This year, Fleurs de Villes came to Covent Garden from 15-19 May, where florists and their brand partners exhibited their creations, demonstrating their floral artistry.
Working in partnership, All For Love London and Fentimans Rose Lemonade created a stunning masterpiece! The Mannequin series combines fashion and inventive fresh floral installations through creative and artful displays. The floral-dressed mannequins were displayed in the iconic Central Avenue corridor of Covent Garden market building.
Commenting on the design and creation, Ruth Davis, CEO and Artistic Director All For Love London, says: "Inspired by the English Rose Gardens that are the source of Fentimans hero product, their Rose Lemonade, we decided to use all elements of 'The Rose' in our design. From petals to buds, stems and blousey flower heads, we are utilising every part of the beautiful garden rose to create a stunning, organic, feminine interpretation of Fentiman's classic English refreshment in flowers'.
Here is a beautiful drawing that Ruth did during the planning stages, so true to life.
The dress was hand stitched and made entirely out of fresh material. It was elegant, feminine, pretty and stylish.
Thank you to Amy O'Boyle for the photography.
]]>Nude by Nature is Australia's No1 Mineral Make Up brand and the event was to mark the brand going live in Boots.
We created a lovely scene of light coloured grasses and florals in nude, pink, blousy shades. A fluffy, pretty corridor full of mixed nude flowers lead to a shiny, glowy wardrobe full of amazing brand products.
Thanks to Heledd Roberts Photography for the imagery!
]]>Sunflowers featured en masse, all amazing 600 of them, making up a cool photo wall backdrop! Perfect for all those insta poses!
]]>We were again asked to bring to life an event for Glenmorangie, for a private dinner at L'Oscar Hotel, Holborn.
Glenmorangie’s Private Edition Tasting Dinner was for their latest Private Collection blend of Whisky.
Key to our role was to use contrasting florals and elements of the tasting notes to really make it an immersive experience for the guests.
It was a beautiful collection of coppery, woody, golden orangey tones and featuring a juicy, rich runner of gorgeous whiskey hues and wooden containers, complete with all the tasting notes of the new, special blend.
Thanks to Heledd Roberts Photography for the imagery!
]]>It was a beautifully sunny weekend and our new purpose built gold trade-stand look radiant in the sunshine!
Maple was on hand too as sales assistant!
We'll be exhibiting at further RHS shows during the summer, so keep an eye on our Instagram for further details.

]]>We're thrilled to announce the launch of our new and unique range of professional floristry and garden cutting scissors - SNIPS.
Developed and designed by Ruth Davis, CEO & Artistic Director of All For Love London, with the professional and amateur in mind, SNIPS offer a more visually exciting and modern, fun design for floristry scissors. SNIPS are the new go-to pair of scissors for the household - offering the perfect pair of scissors for the amateur, keen gardener, or for simply popping flowers in a vase for your own pleasure.
Ruth’s main motivation behind the product was to create a pair of floristry scissors that are high performance and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Commenting on the launch: “As a designer and florist, we love things to be pretty and beautiful. Floristry scissors are our main tool and yet there is nothing on the current market that is young and cool-looking, that are desirable and unique, and that you would take pride in using every day. I wanted to design a pair of scissors that are appealing, fun to use and carry, whilst also being top quality, created by a professional florist for daily use for anything to do with cutting flowers”.
The initial launch pair of scissors are designed in the All for Love mid bright pink; the brand being named after the founder’s favourite pink rose called, All For Love. A short video promoting SNIPS has also been created to accompany the launch. This combines the kaleidoscope with the All For Love rose - bringing the colour and fun to the scissor handles.
SNIPS feature the highest quality carbon blades from Japan, ideal for expert cutting performance and are available in two handle styles, curved and classic straight.
SNIPS are priced at £14.99 (plus P&P) and available from our website with additional stockists soon to be announced.

Dressing for a dinner and overnight stay at the wonderful The Curtain Hotel, it was all about the greens for Kiehls!
The event was to launch a new CBD oil highlighting the soothing and calming properties- Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil and Green Oregano Oil, which help to balance hydration and relieve the feeling of stressed skin.
Inspired by the key ingredient and colours of the Cannabis Sativa Seed oil herbal concentrate we created a stylised table centre of miniature herb garden glass terrariums which ran the length of the table, with trailing foliage running over the edges of the terrariums and all across the table top. Industrial, scientific tube vases gave the table an added modern look. Additional styling included leaf shaped plates and yellow glassware added a scientific, apothecary and chic nod to the tables cape. Each guest received a herbal calming bundle featuring the Midnight Recovery and Daily Reviving concentrate, tied with a navy bow as a place card.
Trailing greenery over the door at the top of the steps with a Kiehls signage backdrop welcomed guests to the dinner.
After dinner, guests were treated to an overnight stay at the hotel, where green foliage was displayed across the headboard.
Botanical beauty for Kiehls!

We simply love working with brands such as Caudalie, especially when they give us such a creative brief!
To launch the brand's new suncare collection, the team organised a press trip to Camber Sands in East Sussex.
The brief was to recreate a coastal beach and sand dunes, using sand and sea rye plants as the main installation. We transformed a whole marquee into a beach, complete with a beautiful lunch and dinner set up, general room styling with such pretty, beachy details and a cool hanging installation in the dining space.
For the guests' dinner we created an authentic beach style runner in keeping with Camber Sands and the rest of the main installation, using shells, corals, driftwood, sand and candles.
It featured some interesting arrangements out of shells using the Caudalie flowers only and placed on the suede sand runner to match the Marquee.
Then there was a real beachy, costal chic hanging installation for the lovely launch.

]]>Every so often a commission comes in where we just have to pinch ourselves! This was one of those occasions.
A pair of flowery Peacocks for HRH Prince Charles! So very blessed to have been trusted with this special commission - honoured beyond belief! The two giant, larger than life flower sculpture peacocks made out of flowers were to celebrate HRH Prince Charles’ 70th Birthday. Here they are, finished in the studio ready for their new, special home in the gardens of Clarence House.
]]>For a recent Puma Event we worked with Cake UK and created several areas where guests could view the latest range.
We created an Instagramable flower and foliage backdrop on the Puma step and repeated this at the entrance to the Event using a mix of foliage and flowers in pinks, purples and whites to co-ordinate with the campaign, coming down in a soft, natural way and giving an elegant, premium feel.
To show off Puma's latest sneaker, we also filled perspex plinths with co-ordinating coloured flowers of pinks, whites and purple arrangements.
Additionally we created several mixed size vase arrangements in cool, funky silver to complement the set build and place around the venue.
Thank you to Philippa Sian Photography for the imagery
