We were excited to see the beautiful new wedding brochures from the lovely team at RMG Venues this week.

Whatever style of wedding you're after, Royal Museums Greenwich offers several unique venues to choose from.

If you're looking for a spectacular riverside setting with sweeping views, then the stunning Cutty Sark is your Captain. Watch the sun set and soak up the atmosphere of this historic and beautiful sailing ship, making it a breathtaking place to celebrate your big day.

Dry Berth: Cutty Sark has the ultimate wow factor – the 963 ton sailing ship is suspended in her dock, creating a stunning space for entertaining underneath her gleaming copper hull. This amazing space can accommodate up to 300 guests for ceremonies, receptions, dinner and dancing.
The ’Tween Deck: Originally used to store the ship’s precious cargo - from tea and whisky to wool and buffalo horns - the ’Tween Deck creates an atmospheric spot for your ceremony for up to 70 guests.
The Weather Deck: Overlooking the Thames with views across London and three towering masts and miles of rigging overhead, Cutty Sark’s Weather Deck makes a dramatic backdrop for drinks and photos.

Then we have the romantic The Queen’s House, which is a truly unique, iconic and stylish wedding venue. Conceived as a ‘House of Delight’ for James I’s Queen, this exquisite former royal residence is set in the green and leafy surroundings of Greenwich Park, with spectacular views across the gardens of historic Greenwich to the River Thames and the contrasting skyscrapers of Canary Wharf beyond. From drinks on the lawns with sweeping park views, to unforgettable ceremonies and dinners in the boutique South Parlours or striking Great Hall, to dancing into the night in the atmospheric stone-arched Undercroft, the Queen’s House is a very special place to celebrate.

The Great Hall: The striking beauty of this perfect 40-foot-cube Hall, with its original black-and-white geometric marble floor and views across the Thames, provides a spectacular setting for ceremonies and dinners for up to 120 guests.
The Orangery and Parlours: Bathed in southern light with breathtaking views across one of London's oldest royal parks and up to the Royal Observatory, the Orangery and South Parlours provide a beautiful location for toasting your marriage with a drinks reception. The Orangery and South Parlours also provide one of the most stylish locations in London for small wedding ceremonies and boutique wedding breakfasts for up to 50 guests.

Undercroft: The vaulted Undercroft beneath the Great Hall offers an atmospheric party space for dancing and after-dinner entertainment, where further evening guests can be invited.

Finally, we have the magical Royal Observatory - founded in 1675 by Charles II and designed by Sir Christopher Wren, the Royal Observatory provides an inspirational setting for ceremonies and receptions.

The Octagon Room: Contained within Flamsteed House is the elegant Octagon Room, the last surviving interior designed by Wren for observing the stars. With soaring windows and 360-degree views of Greenwich Park, the Thames and beyond it provides an iconic London venue for your evening wedding reception. This charming wood-panelled room is ideal for intimate evening wedding breakfasts for up to 60 guests. After dinner, guests can star gaze with a private telescope viewing.
The Meridian Line and Courtyard: Enjoy the views over drinks in the Courtyard and grab an iconic photo opportunity atop the historic Meridian Line, where eastern and western hemispheres meet.  Please note that due to the delicate, world-famous Harrison timepieces housed within, there is no dancing allowed. However, Flamsteed House can be hired in conjunction with the nearby Peter Harrison Planetarium where your guests can dance the night away. The Planetarium Foyer boasts floor-to-ceiling windows and a star-studded floor where you can dine and dance the night away, perched exclusively atop Greenwich Park - Capacity 60 for dinner and dance, 110 for dinner, 130 for standing receptions.
