The summertime just has to be the best time of the year doesn’t it? At least for flowers (and I guess, the weather?) anyway! Pretty much everything is in bloom at the moment and everywhere is just bursting with beautiful colour and flowers of all shapes and sizes. As I mentioned in my last blog post, we have recently been sending out sooo many pretty bouquets, packed full of fragrant, Summer combinations for our flower delivery in London service and I have just wanted to keep every single one of them for myself! The back of our delivery van has never looked or smelt so good!
This week we are getting excited about the famous, Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, second, only of course, to the Chelsea Flower Show. I’m so looking forward to seeing the beautiful gardens and spectacular floral displays that this year’s show has to offer.
The show runs from 8th July - 13th July and, as ever, there will be a number of exceptionally creative, garden designers there, showing off what they do best. The gardens always look incredible, especially against the magnificent backdrop of the historic Hampton Court. What a very British experience! I’m especially looking forward to seeing the collection of new roses in the Festival of Roses...stay tuned for more on this next week!
With a mix of show gardens, live planting, and charming country crafts, Hampton Court Flower Show is a wonderful place to find innovative, flowery inspiration around every corner. I definitely recommend a visit, just don’t forget your sun cream, or your umbrella for that matter –who knows what our wonderful weather will do! xxx
