I am currently working on a mood-board for a lovely couple who are getting married this June. The theme is bright and breezy, beautiful and bold. They are getting married in a fabulous, old hall in the heart of the lancashire countryside and have opted for long, Harry Potter style dining tables. They want a relaxed, informal look with a touch of vintage glam-- to match their tea dance post meal-- so we are going for long, beautiful lines of glass jam jars, hand-blown vintage bottles, old Kilner jars, honey pots, recycled glass apothecary jars and so on, all jam packed (see what I did there) with colourful peonies, blousey garden roses, fragrant stocks and dainty camomile. Clusters of jam jars are forever on trend and 2014 sees them being popular for weddings again! They are also great little give-aways for your guests to take home as a beautiful little momento of your wedding. Time to eat some more jam and save some more jars!! Jam tart anyone?
